Hi!  Work is going on behind the scenes for the Lexington Lakers Swim Team.  Signups will be sometime in April.  Until then, here are some dates to add to your calendar (dates are subject to change but this gives you a good idea).  More information will come as soon as I know it!

Swim Team Information

Hello!  Summer and Swim Team are both right around the corner!  If you know anyone that is interested in swimming, please encourage them to try it out for a week!  We need more swimmers!  If they like it, they can sign up and if not, no problem.  We are really trying to get the word out that we need more swimmers, so please encourage your friends.  Also, if you are a sibling that will attend practices and meets, why not have them join in on the fun?  We really need more swimmers!  Also, if you are planning to be on the swim team, but haven't signed up yet, I have attached the registration form.  Please complete and return ASAP!  And did I mention, we really need more swimmers?!  Thank you for your help in recruiting swimmers for our swim team!  :)
Swim Team Practice times:  Due to Volleyball Camp and VBS the first 2 weeks of June, we have adjusted the practice times below:
Daily Practice Times June 6-July 8:
• 9:45-10:45a.m. 11&Up Swimmers
• 10:45-11:30a.m. 10&Under Swimmers
June 6, 7, 8, 9 Volleyball camp (7:00a.m.-10:00 a.m. 8-12 grades/10:00a.m.-11:30a.m. 3-7 grades)
• 9:45-10:45a.m. 11&Up Swimmers
• 10:45-11:30a.m. 10&Under Swimmers
• 11:30-12:30p.m. makeup time for any swimmers in Volleyball

Volunteers:  Thank you to Candace Corkery for coordinating the volunteers, Gina Lingle for coordinating the ribbons and awards, and Jenny Heitzmann for coordinating the concessions/baked goods for the season.  We also need help with the Lexington Invitational on Saturday, July 9.  If you can help coordinate facilities, awards, sponsors, concessions, or bullpen, please let me know ASAP!  The Invitational is our big money maker of the year to help keep our swim team costs low for each family.  Please consider where you can help out!  :)

It's not too late to sign up for Swim Team!

Hi.  There is still time to sign up for swim team!  If you are still interested, please let me know!  If you are not interested, please let me know that and I can remove your name from the distribution list.  If you have some conflicts with other sports, camps, activities, etc. we can always work around that too.  We are in need of more swimmers this year!


Our coach will be Beckah Silver and our assistant will be Katie Pritchard.


We are hoping for optional practices June 1-3.  Practice will start on Monday, June 6.  Our first meet is Tuesday, June 7.  We will keep you posted.


Practice times will be 9:45-10:45a.m. M-F for the older swimmers and 10:45-11:30a.m. M-F for the younger swimmers.  We will determine the practice groups after we have everyone registered but it will probably be something similar to younger = 10 and under plus new swimmers and older = 11 and up plus experienced swimmers.

We are in need of a concessions coordinator for each home meet.  And we will need help at the Lexington Invitational coordinating concessions, facilities, set-up, bullpen, sponsors, etc.  (Volunteers is Candace, Ribbons/Awards is Gina, T-shirts is Jenn – thanks!)  Please let me know how you can help!  :)
